Going to another state may not be feasible as I think they look for proof of residency where you seek the driving license.

well.. dat sux doesn't it.. u must hav done horrible in it.. coz @ mine, i failed to parrallel park the car. like failed miserably,(half of the car was stickin out), but dat lady still gave me the license. anyways, wat part did u fail tho??
even then, try again after practicing hard, in the area u failed n ur all set wid a driving license. if not hell drive very very safely for the 60 days if u do fail again, hopefully not.
if this is of ne help i got mine after driving for 5-6 mnths without a license. jus drive safe, n dats it..

Thnx guyz for ur suggestions. I still do have one more chance because they allow me to take exam thrice. One more question folks, what if i appear road test exam from a different dmv office in texas this time?? I mean, do different offices share the information that I have already failed the exam twice??

No worries dude.  I had to give the test couple of times myself.  It's pretty common.  Practice a bit and do it again.

@ red devil:

First road test ko belama chahi, parallel parking took me lot more than 2 mintues. Then the test officer told me to drive in the main street, it was too slow.

Aaja chahi, the parallel parking, backing everything were perfect. Tara, I failed to yield on turning rite and the lady failed me on not following traffic signals properly.

I honestly believe that I can make it on the third time..but u know m on high pressure to make it this time..

well,  looks like you were very nervous. first mistake- dont get nervous bro!!.. as soon as she gets in after checking ur lights n stuff.. speak to him/her start off a short conversation.. make it very short.. dont wanna b talkin to her while driving.. jus break d ice, dat should help you drive normally. DON'T GET NERVOUS!!!! go back same place n try again.. ull get through.. like i told u i didn't even parallel park my damn car.. dat lady jus asked me to stop tryin, befo i cud even park it.. -- well, m frm houston.. n mayb its coz she thot parallel parkin not very imp in houston.. i've never really had to do it other than during d trial..

Hi Ek@l,
Ya, maybe I should goto garland driving center this time. If I goto garland, will they know that I have already failed it twice?? Or will they begin my count from one?? And one more question, is it easier at Garland??

Thnx

i believe they will know but if u go there and see how they do, i think u will do fine. they'll start from the back of their building and let u drive on the local road west of building.

i would say, go there and see how they take the test. normally after office hour, u can practice. if u practice and take the test there itself, its gonna help.

one of my friend who had the same situation like urs did well there. so......good luck!

pokhreli thito,

take the test from a private test taker..they will charge you more but you can fail infinite times and still retake the test...if you go to dmv, then you've got only 3 shots.

i took it with a private one, and the old guy was just awesome..never went to dmv.

Failed the test = lack of practice !  Give more time for practice, build up your confidence first, then go for the driving test.  You will pass it !

call your dmv and ask where in the website can you find the list of the private test takers. some states don't list the private test administrators for security reasons. in that case, simply go to dmv and ask for a printout. then contact the test administrator, agree to meet at a place, take cash, registration of vehicle and you'll be tested. good luck.

hmm....if u failed, it means there is some mistake that you have committed...

my suggestion is not to hurry up...but rather practice well ...

driving in US is not as in Nepal... if you make mistakes in highways, it may cost more.....and even life...  so don't get frustrated... rather practice well instead...

----

came to know that you forgot to "yield"... well I will count it as a SERIOUS thing.... if you don't stop and see, then it may cost you more... it really does...
