hey moonshine
what lures u here in CA? No doubt it's a golden state but at the same time an expensive one. BTW you can find nepali communities in Davis and SF bay area, and very few in Sacramento.

California- Population-36,961,664 Nepal-35,000,000 (approx) So it not big, Size should not matter.
Where should I move to? San Francisco - Feels like staying in Daaman all the time with fog- lovely weather-hot chicks. And yes, dont forget to check out Sonia from Rameko America Anubhav.
Anyone living in California. -I presume everyone in CA is alive as I write this. -Lot of Nepalese -Sadly most khutta tanuwaas and bhai fute gawar lute types with 17 NGOs with not even a single community center
- Your life is secure no matter what time you work
- Only one Nepali killed in gas station so far as of my knowledge***
- Chicks are all PWAAAAAT!
- Public Transportation is AWESOME, no matter where you go.
No doubt it's a golden state but at the same time an expensive one.
- If you get paid more, rationally you afford the life here
-everyone gets paid more here
- Federal Minimum wage is $5.50 right? CA's Min wage is approx $9/- everywhere
- Rent is high. yes it is. But if you are getting paid in an average $2500/mth from a $12.00 Motel Work @40 hrs Plus $24.00 on weekends, paying rent $800 for 1BR is reasonable
- Sadly, Jobs are scarce around here there days, but the market should spring back anytime
- oh yah. forgot to mention is a Marijuana Legally Available state where nowadays home delivery is also available :-) See: http://www.kine2b.com/ or just Google 'home delivery marijuana' and see for yourself.
- indian restaurants pay around $10 others $12 to $15, gas stations start from $9, Subways @ $10, Office based clerical jobs at $12 mostly.
- and yes, this is the only state, which has the exact weather, temperature, geography, seasons which matches Nepal's.

Bay area has the best weather in the whole country, I guess! Why would you want to go to Sacramento or other places in California? They are as hot as Texas.
DON'T TRY TO GET APARTMENTS IN RICHMOND AND OAKLAND. Oakland wasn't that bad. But they recently laid off 80 cops.
