I want to go Nepal through India, but don't know how. How can an asylee leave US? Can I use the old passport or do I have to have a "travel document"? Will my visit affect my immigration status?

NO!!! ASYLEE CAN NOT GO BACK TO YOUR COUNTRY EVEN AFTER RECEIVING YOUR GC. IF YOU DO, YOU WILL BE DEPORTED BACK THERE.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! YOU SHOULDN'T GO BACK at least until you become a U.S. Citizen or else you'll lose your status......
