Does anyone know if Student can file asylum? I am a student.. I know it is probably a closed case for me ..still just wanna ask. Its been 4 years I am in US. I visited Nepal few months back. I am still a student. I went there for summer. Can I file for asylum and what is the chance of approval?

from what i have heard, one has to file that within a year of return from nepal.

Go for it my friend, if you just came back from Nepal as far as i know from the other people that many Nepalese are getting the assylum from California ( source: other people and some friends) good luck
