I have a serious request to all Sajhaites: Gurkha is not the right word, Gorkha or Gorkhali is. Sure Western media has made it an official word (probably an entry in Oxford too), but they dont know that it was a misspelled form of the word Gorkha.
But we know what the right word is, why not use the right word? At least when we are having conversation amongst ourselves? I even go extra mile and tell my foreigner friends that the right word is Gorkha.
Not the most important topic, but at least get it right for the Gorkhalis sake. Another bit of trivia: Gorkhali doesnt mean the person is from Gorkha...it was for the hindu warrior saint Guru Gorakhnath and refers to people from mid western and eastern Nepal.
