Rocky Mountain Friends fo Nepal (RMFN) is a registered non-profit organization in the state of Colorado. A few people who has been to Nepal as Peace Corp workers started this organization in 70s. As the Nepalese community in Colorado grew in size, the need to have a registered organization became very obvious. Hence, in February of 2002 this organization was registered in the state of Colorado as non-profit organization. The main objective of this organization is to build and strengthen the Nepalese community and its friends living in the Rocky Mountain areas through active and collective participation. Another goal of RMFN is to promote Nepalese culture and tradition and to seek and explore opportunities for broader ties and partnerships with other communities.
