Need your suggestion in a couple of question regarding GC through marriage with a permanent resident:
Questions-
1) Received EAD/advance parole in the mail and adjustment of status [i-485] is pending. Do you suggest to maintain H1B until GC? [Plan to work with the client directly in EAD]
2) While traveling out of the country and travel document is used in Port of entry, will H1b get terminated?
3) If worked on EAD but a renewal or GC takes longer time, what will be the immigration status?

I think you can go ahead with GC EAD. When you leave your employer, your H1B will also be gone. If GC takes time and EAD renewal also takes time, you can always raise service request and tell them your situation. There should not be any issue getting it renewed. Even H1B is getting tougher these days if you are not working with client.
If I were you, I would do that. But, this is just my personal view and would not be responsible if it brings any complication in your case
