"You can shake us, but you can't break us."

I have been working on this design for a couple of days. I think this is a good way to show the indomitable Nepali spirit. Please consider purchasing this T-shirt and wearing it at your next summer gathering. The money you spend on this shirt will go towards the printing of the shirt, and the rest will go to AmeriCares--it has been on the ground since Day 1, and the charity's 98.2% expenses go towards programs they run (in this case, it is their Nepalese Earthquake Relief). The shirt starts at $15, but you can donate more if you want! Spread the word. The shirts will only be ordered if we meet the 100 shirt goal, otherwise your money will be refunded. Thank you for your support!

Earthquake vibrations is known as Negative Vibration, it destroys almost everything with vibration. Society disappears, lives lost, years of culture arts destroy in second, nature change its course,

For that reason, I don't like the Logo ( Nepali map with Epicenter vibration) on T-shirt and you wear it carry all around.

We need something Positive Vibes. Think Think Think. I don't know the answer, but there may be some Logo..

Thanks.

@Sexy In Sari
Thank you for your thoughts on this. The Earthquake was devastating--killing more than 7700 people and injuring thousands of others. This t-shirt addresses something else: the indomitable Nepali spirit. The Earthquake shook us, but I know, from the bottom of my heart, that we will bounce back from this better than ever. That's what not breaking means. That's what the Nepali Spirit is.

The logo reminds us that it happened--especially for Nepalis like me that are not in Nepal right now. Not being in the motherland and helping fellow Nepalis in this situation has been one of the hardest experiences of my life. I think other expats feel the same way.

In an old song by Deep Shrestha, he states that he is having uneasiness in sleep because he thinks maybe there was a landslide in his village.

Each Nepali expat felt that way on April 25--are my family members okay? Are they safe? Are they alive? Are they dead? How are my neighbors? Someone I know...let me refresh Facebook one more time. Oh no there's death and destruction on CNN. Why are they showing Bruce Jenner? Refresh Facebook again. Change channel CNN says they have cell phone video of the earthquake. How are my grandparents.

This was followed by the desire to do something. This is the desire that the logo will serve a reminder for. That it happened. That each Nepali needs to take it upon himself to do whatever he or she can to give back to his or her people. That we are all together in this. That we have a Spirit that neither an earthquake, nor politicians, nor a civil war, nor poverty, nor suffering can tear apart. This Spirit lives on.

In summary, @Sexy In Sari---this t-shirt is, on purpose, a reminder that Nepalis can and should never forget this.

The black symbolizes the dark time in our history with so much suffering. The white symbolizes hope and peace. The slogan symbolizes the rising Phoenix that is Nepal.
