it's been more than 6 months i've applied for TPS. the receipt date in my notice was july 21. i got my EAD in 2 weeks. while checking case status for form I821 it says "fingerprint fees has been received". i submitted online case inquiry yesterday. when i tried before yesterday, it gave me an error message that my case was still within processing time. but now i can enquire abt my case.
is anyone having same issue? i mean approval taking that long?

same case here, fingerprint fee was accepted on July 13. i received EAD in August, received Advance Parole in September, visited Nepal and returned in November, but my TPS case is still pending. When i first inquired, they asked me to wait 60 days, then I contacted again and they said it is still within processing time of 6 months, so i just need to wait. I even went to local USCIS office, they had no new information and just said that my application is in line to be reviewed. Last month I called USCIS since 6 months had passed, but they didn't know what was going on either. The girl on the phone said that she didn't know what the processing time is for TPS because it is not listed on the website anymore. She asked me to make an appointment and check with USCIS local office. So basically they have no idea. You can't even argue that its past normal processing time because it isn't even listed anywhere anymore. When you call for information, they don't have any extra information but just what you can check yourself on the website. It looks like by the time we get TPS, it will almost be TPS deadline. 6+ months worth of processing and yet there isn't any kind of update or answer.

@me_stars
How was your experience at POE if you used AP from pending TPS application?

they took me to secondary inspection office for further questioning. it seemed like no one knows much about TPS' advance parole because everyone i had to talk to in Nepal's immigration office, (didn't have much of an issue at my transit) and here in US didn't know what i was referring to. They took my docs and checked things in their computer, asked a bunch of questions, and then the person in-charge of my case went inside and talked to somebody else, and then finally they stamped my AP.
