 More than religion, Nepal needs Love

neighbors compete against each other, to show off but not to do good to each other or to the community.
people are fearful of each other, instead of the brotherhood.
people charge whatever rate they can extort for their products they are selling without any regard to those in the lower strata in the society. Even education is not free from the overt greed and corruption.
people do whatever to get ahead; cheating, lying, are common practices. Those who reach to the higher echelon in the public sector are even more corrupt rather than being public servants.
The list goes on and on.
Meanwhile, everyone suffers due to selfishness as the society lacks even basic services like reliable electricity, clean drinking water, proper sewage system, clean air, good roads, etc.

All these point to the lack of Love, Love which is giving and unconditional. like the old adage that goes, "Sewa nai dharma ho." But sadly the concept of sewa, it seems, has long been forgotten by most of the Nepalese people.
