how bad should u trust ur friend for money....

whether u like it or not money pays off things as well as destroys the environment around you....its been a year that i loaned some to a friend of mine and he promised to return as soon as possible and i kind of trusted him for some sad story behind it....his grl got in a wreck and injured her back and he was so in need of help ...he asked and i stood for him and helped him with whatever i could ....

as time passed i needed to be sure that my money was coming back and i tried to call him and now a little over million times ,,same old story... no answer...i tried to leave e-mails,,seems didn't work...i called upon some of my frens and found that he had asked them too...just confused what to do next...don't have any means to reach him....don't even know if it is appropriate to post his name....but i did post once in sajha ...couldn't see any answers...

what should i do????????

any suggestions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
