Dear Participant,
My name is Soni Thapa Oli and I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department
of Sociology at Texas Woman’s University. I am conducting a research
project that examines the adaptation experiences of Nepalese living in
the United States. This study will provide insights into the forces that
determine the adaptation experiences of Nepalese in the United States.
As a participant in this study, you will be asked to spend about 30
minutes of your time in completing an online survey. You must be at
least 18 years of age and be a Nepalese living in the United States. You
will have a month (August 2- September 2, 2010) to complete this
questionnaire.
Participants’ confidentiality and anonymity will be protected. I have
turned off the feature, which collects IP addresses. You will create a
unique code (using a nickname), which will help you to log in (multiple
times) to the study.
Participation in this study is completely voluntary. The only direct
benefit for participating in this study is that at the completion of the
study a summary of the results will be mailed to you upon request by
contacting me directly.

I don't see anything wrong taking into the survey. Its not only for Sony but also reveals some sort of Nepali situation in US. I just did it...and encourage others to take part if u haven't .

हामी एती शन्कालु छौ को, घरमा छोरी बिरामी भएर पल्ला घरए नरे सँग सापत मगेको बिरामी शब्द सुन्ना साथ केही नभनी खुरुक्क दियो.
अब एही कुरामा हामी दिमाग खियाएर बस्छौ। यो नरे सँग गल्फत्ती नगरि एक कौडी पनि नझार्ने आज किन एक शब्द नबोली दियो। छोरीको दबाइ कहाँ र कसरी गर्ने भन्दा पनि यो नरेको टाउकोमा के छ , किन खुरुक्क दियो ? के मा आँखा गाडेको छ , कही त्यो मेरो झाली गाई मा त हैन, कित त्यो डँगुरे खेतमा त हैन ?
सारा कुरा त्यो लेखीएको छ , नाम ठेगाना, के कारण र कुन उद्देस्य हो , तैपनी हामी शन्खा गर्न छोडेका छैनौ ? के यो हाम्रो जातिय गुण हुन वा हामी जोखिम बिना कारण किन उठाउने भनी खाली सतर्क मात्र हुन खोजेका हौ ?

एस्तै खाट्टी र खरो कुरा गर्दा रहेछन र पो गाठे ति भुराहरु खनिएका रहेछन त। मिठो लाग्यो " मृत्यु पनि शंका को घेरा मा हे राम" कसरी कुरा टिपेर राख्न सकेको हो गाठे ।
हुन्लाई त हो , सबै कुरा ऐना झै खुलस्त पारे पछी पनि किन कुरा बङ्याइ राख्नु।
कुनै कुनै भुरा हरु त काउसो लगाएरै छोड्नु पर्ने खाल्का छन। २-४ दिन भयो हराएका हुन्की सेलाएका हुन।
