can't disagree with her as I have to go thro all this crappy management recently. And never fly on flydubai. I wish i had known before. I was travelling from Heathrow to KTM thru emirates. A380 is a beast and it was good ride to dubai. The nightmare started from there. For flydubai flights , you have to take a bus after you go thru security. The bus kept rolling around the dubai airport for almost 30 mins. It seems like I was taking a fcking airport tour. I had 2 hour transit there but it was almost an hour gone and I was still inside the damn bus. Finally it stopped on F terminal and when I reached the gate, there was none on the counter. Less than an hour to depart and no one in the counter. Came to know the flight got delayed. At boarding time, one guy shouted , Boarding to ktm . He literally shouted and air announcement came later. No priority ,zone announcement and everybody started to line up . The worse thing is you have to take bus again upto Boeing. It was old Emirates boeing, and monitor doesn't work. Sometimes in middle the screen flickers and a message got displayed saying Sorry for interruption, the screen will be fixed soon . Rest of the time its blank. I couldn't wait to get out of that plane. In ktm we all know we have to take a bus as there are no bridges that connects airline directly to building. So got out and after stepped down thro stairs , one guy said we have to wait for a bus. There is only one bus and if you stepped down late , there is no option but to wait for it until it unloads the first trip. Finally inside the terminal. Now the real hassle begins. First you have to fill embarkation form, all intl airlines provides the form while you on the flight but here nope. I didnt bring pen so now I have to ask others whether they have extra pen. I asked one staff there and he said he didn't have one. Second you have to be in the line for kiosk. Another 30 mins gone. No signs for form or kiosk line or counters, nothing. After done with kiosk you have to get into another line for visa payment. Another 30 mins. They charge 40 dollars each for 30 day stay. 40 bucks with that sort of management. After that again another queue for visa stamp. You started to freak out and almost all ppl now started to get into temper. After that you go to security and finally to baggage claim. Only one carousel and by the time you reach caraousal, your luggage will be taken out and placed it somewhere if you are in luck. Toilet smells like rotten hell. OMG. Even without any visa fee , this place is supposed to be much much better and organized and you get this kind of mess , a torture, a negative feeling even after paying 40 bucks. I might have cursed the politicians one zillion times for this at that time.

Not just politicians fault. Nepalis are totally fine with their roads , airports, hospitals as they are. They are only worried about building bigger houses for themselves. In fact, they don't want their airports modernized. Its their main transit for all the black market, smugglings and money laundering; they would want it to stay as disorganized and outdated as possible and for as long as possible.

Soaltee that is a biggest cop-out ever. Not all nepals are into black market, smuggling and money laundering. Maybe less than 1% are into it. The rest of the 99% are suffering because of these 1% and that is not right to justify such a problem.

NRN’s are amongst the richest Nepalese and they are the ones who have invested tonnes in Nepal from Real estate to Cigarette companies. They evade taxes in Nepal, make illegal money in Nepal and take it back to their residential Country and they are the one who say bad or rant about Nepal Airport. Why don’t those NRN’s personally build a world class Airport instead of ripping off their own Motherland where they were once born and accumulating millions of dollars in Swiss Banks and buying a private plane abroad? They do all the wrong things and they criticize Nepali people when they are in Nepal. These top NRN’s like Mahato, Chaudharies, Jha, Sumargi, Khetans, Ranas and............. are the bosses who controls Nepal government and officials with their money power and are the biggest culprit for Nepal being poor not those staying in Nepal who call them Sir and Madam.
