My innocent question :

Does she deserves to be top nepali actress with that face, body and acting. She isn't hot, pretty or good actor. Why is she actor in nepali film industry?

I didn't full interview but I have answer to her one question. Why nepali didn't came to watch your movie? And answer is you don't deserve it. I don't want to waste my $ to watch your movie. Be better actor, make good movie everybody will watch it.

नायिका रेखा थापालाई के भएको छ कुन्नि? विवादमाथि विवादमा पर्दै आएकी छिन्। कुनै बेला सुपरस्टार राजेश हमालसँग फोटो खिच्न नमानेर स्टारिजम शो गरी हमालसँग बोलचालै बन्द गर्ने रेखाको पछिल्लो समयमा धेरै चलचित्रकर्मी र कलाकारसँगको सम्बन्ध चिसिँदै गएको छ भने पति छवि ओझासँगको सम्बन्ध पनि सकिइसकेको अवस्था छ। जमानामा एनेकपा (माओवादी) ले गरेको आमहड्तालमा हिँडेरै गई सो पार्टीका अध्यक्ष पुष्पकमल दाहाल ‘प्रचण्ड’ सँग नाचेर सस्तो लोकप्रियता हासिल गरी सोही पार्टीबाट प्रधानमन्त्री भएका डा. बाबुराम भट्टराईलाई भेटी चलचित्र विकास बोर्डको अध्यक्ष बन्नका लागि क्याम्पेनिङ गरेर पनि चलचित्रकर्मीहरुबाट आलोचना व्यहोरेको धेरै भएको छैन। तर माओवादीसँग नजिक रहेर जति धाए पनि र क्याम्पेनिङ गरे पनि बोर्ड अध्यक्ष हुन नसकेकी उनले अध्यक्ष नियुक्त भएका धर्मेन्द्र मरवैता ‘पप्पु सँग बसेर गत शिवरात्रिका दिन मात्र गाँजा भरेको चुरोटको सर्को लगाएर रमिता मात्र देखाइनन्, त्यस बखत खिचिएका तस्वीर सञ्चारमाध्यम र सञ्चारकर्मीकहाँ उपलब्ध गराउन लगाएर सबैलाई हैरानसमेत पारिदिइन्। सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमका लागि ह्ययान्डसम मनी पेस्की लिई सकेर पनि अन्तिम समयमा आएर मलेसिया नगइदिएकी रेखाले सरी भन्नुको साटो उल्टै आयोजकलाई गाली गरेर अव्यावसायिकता समेत प्रदर्शन गरी अर्को आलोचना कमाइन्। उनको फोटोसमेत राखेर सारा टिकट बेचिसकेको आयोजक समूहले रेखाकै कारणले ठूलो सास्तीसमेत व्यहोर्नुपर्यो। रेखाबाट धोका भएपछि आयोजकले हतारहतार झरना थापालाई बोलाउनुपर्दा आर्थिक नोक्सानी मात्र भएन, कार्यक्रम संयोजन गर्न समेत उनीहरुलाई धौधौ परेको रेखाले महसुससमेत गरिनन्। उता ‘अध्ययन भ्रमण’ भन्दै अमेरिका पुगेका बेला ‘पढेलेखेकाले चाहिँ के खुत्याएका छन् र’ भनेर अर्को तरंग ल्याइदिइन्। अमेरिकाबाट फर्केको धेरै भएकै छैन, यहाँ आएर त्यहाँका नेपालीलाई ‘होमलेस’ (भिखारी) भनिदिएर चित्त दुखाइदिइन्। एक टेलिभिजनलाई दिएको अन्तरवार्ताका क्रममा उनले त्यहाँका नेपालीलाई होमलेस भनेपछि अमेरिकाबासी नेपाली उनीसँग क्रुद्ध र आक्रोशित भएका छन्। केहीअगाडि मात्र अंग्रेजी बोल्न सिकेकी उनले शुरुमा नजानेर होमलेस भनेको हो कि भन्ने पनि पर्यो। तर अमेरिका बसेर नेपाल आएका नेपालीलाई यहाँ मानसम्मान गर्नु नपर्ने बताएका कारण उनी विवादमा मात्र परिनन्, त्यसको ठूलो विरोध पनि भयो। विरोध भएपछि उनले फेरि त्यही टेलिभिजनलाई अन्तरवार्ता दिएर आफ्नो भनाइ सच्याउने प्रयास गरिन्– ‘उहाँहरुले ती होमलेसलाई सहयोग गरिदिए, उद्धार गरिदिए भने चाहिँ उहाँहरुको विरोधलाई पनि स्वीकार्छु।’  यस्ता अनेकन विषय छन्, जसले पछिल्लो समयमा रेखालाई नेपाली फिल्म क्षेत्रको हट एन्ड चिल्ली बनाइरहेको छ। र, पनि उनी यसमा गम्भीर देखिएकी छैनन्। कलाकारहरुको रोगै हो, बेलामा आफूलाई नसुधार्ने, समय घड्केपछि पछुताउ गर्ने? रेखाले के गर्लिन्?

एस्तो पनि हुन्छ समाचार ? समाचार भन्दा बढी रेखासंग फोटो खिच्न नपाको झोकमा अलाप-बिलाप गर्दै कुरा काट्य जस्तो | कलाकारको काम भनेकै रमिता देखाउने त हो? बेवकुफ | तेही रमिता नदेखाए यिनीहरुको समाचारको खुराक बन्दैन |

She is some village girl with 9th grade Nepali public school education. She said what she was capable of and it is quite funny to see some of these first world floks with Masters and PHDs trying to make sense out of what she said.

Like it or not and believe it or not, she is the #1 actress of Nepal and she has some kind of a stardom with people who are at her level. She is not really your cup of tea.

If this sort of view had come from Rajesh Hamal, Hari Bansa, Madan Krishna and alike actors then it would have been something for debate.
