Hello everyone. I am posting here asking you all how often do u actually call or talk to your parents back home? For me, I am super saturated with being called by my in laws twice a day for 2 years. I really don't have anything new to talk everyday. I call my own parents only once in 2 weeks. I go to college in morning and evening, have tons of assignments, have to do all house hold chores, but my in laws don't seem to get it. They think that I always have time to talk to them. It's being very torturous with days. If I don't pick their calls, they leave msgs like thikai chha, vai halyo, na uthau, uthena thikai chha, blah blah. They ring me up to 6/7 times if I don't pick the phone even if there ain't no emergency. I don't know what to do. It's not that I hate them or avoid them, but I am not a very talkative person who has things to talk about every now n then. My husband knows this. He actually don't get calls very often. It's me. Isn't it fine if I talk to them twice a week. Why are they being so annoying???? My husband has called my parents only 2 times in 2 years. But they don't say anything. He talks to them may be once a month because he gets very busy with work b all. I am getting irritated a lotttt. Am I the only one in this boat? Share ur views please.
