Who says that the traditional democratic parties always work for democracy???
I still do not understand why nepalis are after the political parties that plunged the country into absolute darkness...

..Like minded people, can we create a political party in nepal just like what Thaksin Shinawatra ( Thai prime minister) did in thailand??? The entire world know how he took thailand out of financial crisis in 98's and nowhe is on the verge of reclaiming vistory for the second time...SOCCER loving fans, He has more than 30 % shares at LIVERPOOL...
I know this can be done only when someone, extraordinarily rich can offer to contribute..but hey, if KING himself comes forward and lends a help to take the country out of crisis, then Let us go along with him...why so hue and cry about the present crisis?? Give king your backing and move forward to build a better nepal...

i don't want to utter names of so-called netas, but it's obvious that we don't get anything out of them..as I posted in the other comment, these leaders want to make them by leaving us in the middle of a river..They are showing these troubled people to the world and asking for themselve, without trying to rescue them..shame on these leaders....

AjSab01..If you are in anyway in contact with the current government of Nepal, give my best regards to them and thank them for the great job they have done!!! We were sick and tired of these stupid news of killing and corruption and what not! It is peace now..even though it had to come like this...I salute the move and hope that King G keeps the spirit of the people high by taking our country out from the mess like Thai King Bhumibol did.

Three Cheers for King G and RNA and current government!

His investment in Liverpool does not make Thai people vote for him. If you can convience people and act on your promise you can achieve it. I like the idea of opening party. True, we need money but money from King. King will moalster that party everytime.

Revival & Madhav,

Good that you are thinking along the same line..I think money won't be an issue if people support affirmatively about KIng's move..We are not doing anything that will run in accordance with KIng's wish....WHat I am saying is if King succeeds in his efforts to get rid of maoists and bring the multy-party democracy back on track , say within 3 years, then a new party should be in the horizon to serve nepalese people...

Don't you guys think so?? SPEAK UP!!!!!!!
It's time to clear up the mess and parties theselves....

GIRIJA faraar?????
why should army put him under house arrest?? It is learnt that nepalis people are so angrly with GIRIJA that they wanted to deal with him by themselves, taking the law in their own hands..Realing his previous misdeeds, it is likely that GIRIJA might be absconding from the eyes of nepali public!!!!!
good luck to those who want to know about girija's hideouts!!

Thaksin Sinawatra DOESN'T have a stake in Liverpool. He did try to buy 30% or so, but the negotiation broke down. I don't understand why you brought up the issue in the first place. Thaksin is a democratic leader, who happens to be very rich. But, his money has not much to do with his POLITICAL success. He is a shrewd politician who works for the betterment of Thai people. Money can buy you few MoPs when needed but not a political success if thats not your goal.

King and Nepalese people uniting against a common threat would be an excellent scenario if all of us could trust him and his intentions. Many people don't and rightly so. Politics aside, in the last two years, do you know by how much the royal budget increased? King is already rich, and he knows and he has seen the poverty in our country. Why increase Royal budget then? The reason is: King believes that he is above people, and he truly believes that he has a historic if not divine right to rule our nation. That is why I doubt his intentions, and that is why there is so much hues and cries. I could be wrong but I don't believe I am wrong, and that is why people like me oppose his moves.

By the way, I think our politicians are corrupted and visionless people, but since I believe in democracy, I would rather support a corrupted visionless politicians than a corrupted and autocratic King, who I believe is equally visionless.

yea,,....what can u expext from the king who one of the poorest country in the world..(it hurts when i write but it is fact..), doubles the royal budget......gyanddra is not doing this for the people..............now he can raise even more budjet of roayal family since the media is censored...nobody can say nothing against him...he is the hungry lion for the power.....at least i saw the good part of democracy is ...although there was corruption ..corruption was in access fo everybody...i am not supporting for corruption actually...i just want to say that ...the tree of corruption was not planted in 14 yrs...but was sprayed allover at that time....why do u think people were poor before dmocracy also...because money was freezed in one place ...and in democracy that was lil bit sprayed...u can see the lifestyle of people in few cities people...which has been chnaged in this 14 yrs.....see everybody of ur own life before and after democracy.......u might say everybody is rich because of coruption...no ...but because of oppetunity...now u don't have oppertunity...adn people who r righ because of democray...can be punished .....that has also their own democratic process....
