Let us all unite against theanti-Hindu forces in Nepal. CAN WE DO IT?

Let us spread message against what is happening to Nepal.
WE WANT IT TO REMAIN A HINDU STATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can we unite?
This will be the real challenge.
Look at how Indian medicos/engineers are uniting against job reservation.

Well, OUR RELIGION,HINDUISM THE ODLEST RELIGION IS BEING REMOVED FROM NEPAL. AND NO ONE IS BOTHERED? SICKENING.

Do you know what troubles start if this happens.
PLEASE ALL WAKE_UP AND SEND A STRONG MESSAGE TO THE CORRUPT & CROOK POLITICIANS IN NEPAL.

WE WANT NEPAL TO REMAIN HINDU!!!!!!!!!!

SPEAK EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Imi,

I do not see any logic in your argument. Now that you are running out of arguments, you are starting to vent your frustrations on SPA, and the missionaries. BTW, we are not talking about SPA here. We are talking about the Hindu State. Please relax and stick to the topic. Also, ou do not need to write in capital letters to bring your message across.

It is good that you are passionate about Hinduism. However, I am sorry but I find your reasonings shallow. On one hand you want to dismiss shortcomings of Hindu by saying there are discriminations in all the religion. On the other hand, you bring such weak argments like we need to be Hindu state because there are 52 Islamic states. What kind of logic is that? Same with the fear tactics you are using about fundamentalist Hindus. Now, shall I support the Hindu state because it is going to do any good to the people of Nepal or because of fear from the fundamentalists? Maoists have destroyed whatever there was to destroy, how much more damage can fundamentalists do?

You claim that Hinduism will help the poor the most. But How? Do you have any backing? The high caste Hindus discriminated dalits and put them in this dismal state. What have they done to help them out till now? How many Priests do you see helping out the lower caste poor people? Since the high caste brought this dismal state of the disadvanated Hindus, they have to apologize be proactive in reforming Hinduism.

Pats,
I don't know brother where are you going with your arguements. You yourself come up with the statistics which you aren't even sure. What's your agenda, equal rights to all or secularism? You get zero on your remarks, you know? Let me tell you one thing, this world we live in is ruled by people with smart ideas and power in their hands, regardless of what caste or creed they are. In case of Nepal, it happens to be majority Brahmans and Chhetries. A day will surely come when there will be no discrimination against present day so called lower castes but there will be descrimination against others. Today religion has been used by some cheaters to do so, that day may be something else will be used.
But people like you, instead of raising voices against the discriminators, are against the mean they have used. You know they don't care, they will fulfill your demands, in fact they already have done, but they will use other means now on to supress people like you. What the heck, now on you will see, so so religious Brahmans will start bringing the lower castes into their house and start getting along with them. You know, but people like you will still be ranting. Because in society's eyes, Brahmans would seem liberal and will get more appreciation whereas those dalits would still be seen as a bunch of used guys.
So, if you really have skill and guts, make yourself attractive to others and learn how to keep distance with them at the same time. Can you ever make someone wish to enter your house and not let him/her in? No matter how disgusting it is, learn from it because this world, is not a nice place. It is just worth fighting for. Try to be tough from your brain, animals are far more tougher at heart than humans but they don't rule the world. So be smart and try to reach the core of problems, don't just beat around the bush.

ImI, by going through all your postings, I can assume that you must be in USA. I don't understand why you should be so worried about Nepal being a secular state. You are in a secular state and surely you must be enjoying the freebies that this country has to offer, including freedom of religion. I find you very hypocrite in your thoughts, childish and immature in your reasoning, and definately not on the right side. Your saying that only Hindu can uplift the Dalits boggles my power of grasp. Can you illuminate me on these ? Aren't high caaste hindus the reason why Dalits came into existance ?

Enginma2 ..well u r right i am in usa and so u mean to say i shouldn't be concerned with the things going on my country? whats u deep and immature reasoning behind that.My friend i am not immature if u have been following me properly i have given good examples .Yes that is not acceptable to u or others favoring secularism because u r blinded by Secular ideal.ideal is good i don't deny that but i deny that it is good for nepal in present political ,social context of nepal. this step is ridiculous. what change do u expect?
Some frens have argued about how dalit and janjati has been suppressed by elite hindus .well that is not beause of hinduism because of socio-economic condition. The reason i am saying hindu can bring dalit hindu up and not christianity is we live in society and u cannot deny that .Though a dalit changes into christianity doesn't change his status in society neither acceptance(now don't bash me now that i am stating fact ) .what it invites is social jealousy and more discrimination and more hate ,intolerance .The root and evil of society cannot be eradicated by proclamation of Secular state. It has to be tackled in sensible way as to not directly attacking majority hindu.and yes u are correct it is the high class hindu why dalit came to existence but not becauseof hinduism So please refrain from bashing hinduism.I guess u are sensible enough to understand this.

but i know u won't. its not my argument has no validity it is your superiority and modernized complexity .u think u understand secularism and i don't which won't let u see this and understand this.U wil come again and call me racist blah blah...blah .. u don't even know my stance by your previous comment.u are calling me immature, hypocrite and stuff like that .I gave reasons why i think u guys ar hypocrite and immature and shallow .i don't want to make this personal issue and u guys are attacking me personally.Good going u need more people like u to bring change...

NepeSahila, Imi ....you are so deeply engrossed in your own world, that you have failed to realise that this is the 21st century. Secularism is the way to go, and nothing can stop it. As about smart ideas and power in the hand , I would say you are right about the power part but smart ideas , I wouldn't think so. Why would you think Nepal is where it is inspite of the Brahmins and Chettris playing the major part for the better half of our history. I am not blaming them for the situation of the country, but think for yourself, if they were so smart, as you like to put it, shouldn't Nepal have been a model state by now. No particular caste, religion or ethnicity is superior then the other. Do you guys really want Nepal to remain a Hindu state, for the betterment of the nation and all the people therein? Are you sure its not for your hurt ego, or the sinking feeling deep inside on the realisation that other religion will be treated equally to Hindu by the state. With a |Hindu population of 80% (as per census) why should you be scared of the mere 20% who have just as much difference among themselves as they have with Hinduism, just because you don't have state protection now?

Imi, you seem to be deeply worried about the situation of the country now that Nepal has been declared a secular nation. Did you feel the same way for the thousands killed during the years of insurgency ? Did you do anything about the peoples from humla, Rolpa and other rural areas when they didn't have anything to eat ? Did you do anything for the innocent Nepalese killed in Iraq ? Of all the trouble that has done harm to our country, your greatest concern is that Nepal is no more a Hindu nation and that is going to lead the country into darkness and chaos. I completely fail to understand how can you say that, when equality and freedom of religion and expression is the cry of the modern world. Aren't you trying to push back Nepal into the feudal period ? You are afraid that now missionaries will get a freehand on their mission. If you think Hinduism is great then I see no reason why you should be afraid. Hinus will always remain Hindu if it has that greatness and people who doesn't, are never meant to be.

so who is in power now same people right what makes you think it is going to be model state??who is scared of what ? i don't need state protection but i need fairness and democratic way of being able to choose what we want and u claim we are in 21 st century?
I am not scared of anybody but there are other ready to jump in and exploit poor dalit so stop bashing only barhim and chetri .i talked about that already.well i even wish there should be any religious decrimination . i am just saying again and again what is the use .. mere political gain nothing more than that .... that also in undemocratic fashion.. now please don't go again on democracy area that is also i have explained. what ever u have questioning me about i have answered.Don't think i am taking in the side of elite hindus i am not one of them.

ImI , I understand what you are trying to explain. Don't misunderstand me, I have utmost respect for Hinduism and my best friend since my school days is a chettri. I have known some wonderful Brahmins also. They are all wonderful people, and I won't say anything that would disrespect their religion. But in the matter of long term national interest, I beleive that secularism would be beneficial. If not now, then maybe after 50 yrs, people would still cry out for religious equality. If it happens then, it would be bloodshed, and more violence. This is the right time. Nevertheless Hinduism will always remain the majority, have no worry about that.

Birjunj shut down for the second day

Led by World Hindu Federation (WHF), Hindu religious organizations shut down the southern town of Birgunj, Parsa district, for the second consecutive day on Thursday, against the parliament’s declaration turning Nepal into a secular state.

WFP is a fundamentalist Hindu outfit lead by Bharat Keshar Singh, the honorary ADC of the King. The erstwhile royal government had shelled out millions of rupees to Singh to organise a WFF’s public meetings, according to reports. nepalnews.com mk May 25 06

Millions of Rs ? According to which reports ???

Girija received 30 crores from India for the agitation. The mob received Rs 500+1 bottle of beer+good meals from Girija. Still Girija spent only 15crores in 19 days. Rest went to him pocket. He must have received a large sum of money for declaring Nepal secular. What about that?????

In a day and age when anyone can shop for a "Buddha", or a "Shiva" or an "Allah" like shopping for a candy in Namaste supermarket, why are the Nepali stooges of the India-based fundamentalist Hindu organisations and parties worried about losing their "market share" in the market place of religions, esp when they know they're gone lose even more under "Hindu Nepal"? Don't you guys know that the SPA is a trust-buster in disguise. They just busted the Hindus' state-sanctioned "natural monopoly" position in the market place of religions by declaring Nepal a "secular state" in order to give the consumers more choice. This is a victory for Free Market Economy.

In a day and age when people change religions like clothes, "Hindu state" ko auchitya nai k chha ra! "Hindu state" tag is an albatross around Nepal's neck.

"Secularism" is gonna create a level playing field, if it already hasn't. Jamana free competition ko ho - state-supported monopoly ko hoina. The state has no business throwing good money after bad to rescue "auchitya sakiyeko", loss-making Hindu rajya.

Karmapa, what do you actually mean by this? What makes you think consumers were merely under a monopoly? Were anyone ever prohibited from practising their own religion or converting to a religion of their choice under Hindu Nepal?
